So last night my parents came out and we all went to the Spokane Shock's preseason game. For those of you that don't know the Spokane Shock are an arena football team. Ben and I had season tickets and were extremely huge fans of the Shock. Actually Ben put off his doctor's appointment in August because the Shock were in the championship game and we had tickets. Anyway the 2009 season will officially begin on April 3rd but last night they had a preseason game and Raider and I were not going to miss out. Our season tickets are actually in the last row which we love. The view is really good from up there and we are able to get up and move around without bothering anybody else. Every year they try to get us to upgrade our tickets and we just continue to explain that we really like our last row tickets. Last night though we had tickets that were in the eleventh row. It was strange being so close to the field and truthfully you can't really see as much when you are down that far. At half time we ended up moving to our regular seats and were pretty much the only people up there except for a bunch of rowdy unsupervised junior high kids. The Shock won 35-28, which is a pretty low scoring game for arena football. It was a good game though and I was so happy my parents were there will Raider and I. At the end of every game Ben and I had the tradition of taking a picture of the three of us with the field in the background and taking a picture of the final scoreboard. So last night in typical fashion I got a picture of Raider and I and the scoreboard. I've also posted some other more recent pictures of Raider for you all to see.
