The trip to Texas

Thursday night we quickly packed and got plane tickets for Ben's mom (Marla), Ben and I to head down to Texas the next day. We knew that a hurricane was heading towards Houston and wanted to get down there as soon as possible. There also was a chance that Ben could get worse and it would be nice to be down there if that happened. On Friday Ben, Raider, Marla and I all traveled to Houston. We had a layover in Seattle so Ben and I went through security and got to see my mom, sister, brother-in-law and our neice and twin nephews. We were so happy that we got to see them before we headed to Texas. It took us three flights to get down there but around 11:00 at night we were all in hot and muggy Houston. Ben's dad, Terry met us down there also. We checked into our hotel which was attached to the hospital and fell fast asleep after a long day of traveling.
