A Better Day

Things are beginning to look up again. I have gotten busy and back into the swing of things and my daily life rhythm has returned. Some of the things I have decided I wanted to do in this new year and take lots more pictures and video of Raider. I feel like over the past couple of months I have really missed out on documenting his life. I also decided I would start a new blog just for my sewing stuff. It is http://benjibums.blogspot.com for those of you interested in checking it out. I really felt like I needed something to blog about that wasn't always about my whole process in mourning and was a little more lighthearted. I think I have just began to focus my energy on more positive things and have in turned began to feel a little better. Obviously I am still lonely a lot but at least I can go down to my sewing room and create something. Anyway I don't really have much else to say but hey at least I checked in. I will post some pics of Raider for those of you who don't see them on Facebook.

My parent's, Raider and I all went to Disney World the first week of December

For those of you who don't know, Ben and I went to Disney World for our Honeymoon. Included in our package was a tile on the Leave a Legacy Wall. These tiles are about 1"x1" and are on these marble pillars when you enter Epcot. This time when I returned I got to find the tile that Ben and I had made on our honeymoon. It was so cool. The first picture is of the Leave a Legacy Walls and the second is our tile.

My sister, friend Megan and I decided that we should do the Wizard of Oz for Halloween so here is the whole gang. My mom made the dorothy and lion costume and I made the rest.
