The last couple of days

So this week has been pretty good. I spent some of the weeks running errands and figuring things out and then Friday I spent with friends. I went to the park with Roxanne and had an amazing time with Raider and her kids. It wasn't all that cold when we first got there but by the time we left it was freezing. It was so nice just to hang out with a friend and talk cloth diapers. After that I went over to my friend Leslie's house for dinner with her and her kids. It is so fun to hang out with all my old high school friends now that we all have kids. It is crazy how we are all so much the same but just with little ones tagging along. Saturday my mom watched Raider and I got to go shopping with Megan and her friend Jennifer for wedding dresses. Megan still hasn't found that perfect one but I feel like she may be getting closer. I guess nobody carries any simple destination wedding style dresses this time of year. Also in Wenatchee if they don't have the dress in your size or at all then you have to order it and you can't choose not to buy it when it comes which is just retarded cause there is no way to know if you are going to like the dress unless you try it on. Oh well I have confidence that Megan will eventually find exactly what she is looking for. My grandpa came over to watch football yesterday also so it was great to see him and I always love watching him interact with Raider. He is the happiest great-grandpa ever. Today my mom and I went to the Lutheran church in East Wenatchee and it was so nice. Now that my mom has moved back to Wenatchee she wants to find a church and was just not feeling all that connected at Grace anymore. We really liked the service this morning and I think my mom will probably end up going there. It is always nice to find a nice church family where you feel loved and supported. I also think I have found a place to live in Spokane. Nothing is official yet but it would be a house which is so what I would like to have instead of an apartment. I am really just wanting to be in Spokane now. I know once I get there I will probably want to be back in Wenatchee but right now I just want to start my life instead of just sit here and be inbetween. Thanks again for reading my thoughts.

I can't wait to see you thanksgiving. Even though I know this holiday will be bitter sweet. I am ready for you to get your life started too. I am a liitle nervous for you going back to Sandpoint though. I am praying for strength for you and Raider to face what ever comes your way.

Thanks again for hanging out this weekend, it was great to see you; I just wish I could have seen Raider, too! Although hard, Spokane will be good for you. Nate's little brother lives there too, so he can go spend time with him and we can just hang with the kiddos. I love you so much and my thoughts are with you this holiday season.

Kirstin, love having you stop over at the house to visit with Leslie and the kids. Watching Kolton love up on Raider is so cute. Raider is very patient with him too. Leslie will talk her Dad into making you dinner before you move to Spokane. (just like old times huh?) I know the holiday's will be hard for you and Raider; having your friends and family to help you through will give you comfort. You will always remember the special things you and Ben shared during the holidays, and will now begin to make new traditions with Raider. Sending you our love and know that you are always welcome at the Hardie home.
