The love of family

Today Ben was doing really well. He was very alert and awake for most of the day. He played with Raider, smiled at many different things, nodded his head, gave some thumbs up and even somewhat laughed. We were visited by a lot of family which is always so nice. Marla's sister and brother along with their spouses came by this evening and three of Ben's cousins stopped by also. My aunt, uncle and grandma also came by this evening. It was so great to have the love and support of our family. Two of Ben's really good friends also came by which I know Ben appreciated. I spoke with my family doctor in Idaho today and he said I should try to get some exercise so I think I am going to try to take Raider on a walk everyday. It will be nice to get outside in the fresh air and take a break for a few moments everyday. Tomorrow I am get to go to my grandma's again for dinner and another night of good sleep, I am so looking forward to it. Please continue to keep Ben in your prayers. Things are going very well and we hope that we really get to take advantage of these times with Ben and truly enjoy them.
