Raider the Pirate
So this morning I got into bed with Ben after feeding Raider, but then realized that I had to go to the bathroom. So I got back out of bed and was walking to the bathroom when a nurse walked in with a concerned look on her face. She asked if I needed any help? I was like no everything is fine. She said that the front desk thought they saw someone fall out of bed on the monitor. I guess I am not too graceful getting out of bed, oh well at least I know they are making sure Ben is okay. Today was another day of lots of family and friends stopping by. Raider was in a good mood and of course made many new friends. Ben is still doing good and got to watch some football today. The nurse said that his blood pressure and heart rate are still strong and he is still breathing quite well. Terry also trimmed up his beard today and the nurses are going to shave him tomorrow. His facial hair was beginning to get pretty long and I think it was starting to make him itch. This evening my mom and grandma came up and we went out to eat. It was nice so nice to get to see my grandma. I also ordered Raider's Halloween costume today. It is a pirate costume from Old Navy that Ben and I had found that we were so excited about. Who know where we will be for Halloween but Raider will sure be a cute pirate wherever we are. Tomorrow I am going to go to church with Ben's friend Brian which I am so excited about. I haven't been to church since this whole thing happened. Worship is such an important part of my faith and not being able to go to worship has been so difficult for me. I am truly looking forward to tomorrow morning.

I am so gald you are getting to go to church. I am also happy you and Brian can be there to help support each other. I also want to thank all the people from St. Marks who have wrapped their arms so tightly around you. I am so gald you are going to be apart of that church family. Today we will watch the Packers beat the Seahawks. Percy will miss Ben a lot today. Especially when he wants to pick up his phone to discuss the game. Can't wait to see you all! The last time I saw Brian I was twice my size and had 3 less children. Sending all my love to Ben and family. Oh yeah, Kirstin how do you say Akward! LOL
Kirstin, Ben, and Raider,
I've been following your blog and marveling at how courageous and strong you have been through out this. We at St. Mark's in Spokane continue to pray for you daily.
Peace to you all.

Kirstin, Ben and Raider I'm not a very good computer person, but I have been reading your blog everyday. I just don't know what to say. I hurts so much to hear what you guys are going through. Sometimes when I am reading your blog I smile and sometimes my eyes water. Thinking of you with lots of love and hugs. From all of us here in Wenatchee. You and all of your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
