The joys of getting to wear real clothing

Today was a great day. I finally got to sleep in the same bed as my husband and baby. I never realized how amazing this was until I couldn't do it. My mom left this morning which was hard but I am so thankful that she was able to come for as long as she did. The rest of the day we just spent relaxing and hanging out. There is this huge lounge chair that Ben and I have been spending a lot of time in. We even got Jenna, Ben, Raider and I in it all at the same time. This evening we had true Texas BBQ which was fantastic and Ben really enjoyed. Ben got to take a shower today and wore real clothing instead of a hospital gown or pajamas. It was so great to see him in real clothing. Tomorrow we will be heading back to MD Anderson for an outpatient physical/occupational therapy appointment and a speech therapy appointment. Please pray that all of Ben's therapy appointments go well and that they really help him regain some of the things he has lost.

Good luck at therapy. It may be rough, but stick with it and be proud. I know we are so proud of you.
