Livin' it up at the Hilton
We have moved once again. We are now staying at the Hilton until at least Monday. We still do not have power so we have moved to the Hilton where there is. Ben wanted me to title this post Sweet, Sweet Air Conditioning, but since I am always cold in air conditioning that just didn't seem like a good title. I guess it is nice to have air conditioning and not have to deal with the humidity but I am back under a blanket. Yesterday was an insanely long day at the hospital and we all came home and crashed afterwards. We met with Dr. Levine and Ben got his stitches taken out. This just means that he can now shampoo his hair without having to watch out for the stitches. We also got the final results of the biopsy pathology which remained the same. Ben is suffering from a grade 4 glioblastoma. We won't really be seeing Dr. Levine much anymore now that there won't be a surgery which makes me sad. I really feel like we have been blessed to have had him as Ben's doctor. Dr. Groves, the oncology doctor, called and let us know that they had found elevated liver enzymes in his blood. They aren't quite sure what is causing this but it could be from the chemo drug he is taking. He will have another blood draw on Wednesday to monitor it. Hopefully the liver enzymes will go down, but if not they will have to find out what is causing them to rise. Please pray that this issue will be resolved quickly. Today was a pretty lazy day. We took Raider swimming in the hotel pool. He loves swimming so much, actually I think he just likes splashing around in the water. We also gave him carrots today. It was his first solid besides rice cereal. I still can't tell if he likes them or not. He eats them but makes a face like he doesn't so we will just have to wait and see. Tomorrow we are heading to the Galleria (a gigantic mall) to window shop. I am looking forward to another day where we don't have to travel to MD Anderson.

Enjoy the cool air! I wish I could be there to watch Raider swim! I can't imagine he has trouble floating with those legs of his! J/J. Ib love you guys. Have another good and relaxing day tomorrow. Hugs and kisses...
Glad you got to go swimming and have some really good food! Praying for positive answers to the liver issue. Hang in there. I am really proud of you both.
